ITNANO Strengthens Scientific Leadership through International MoS₂ Research Publication

ITNANO continues to strengthen its position as a technology-driven company through active contributions to internationally recognized scientific research. One of ITNANO’s key achievements is marked by the publication of a research article entitled “Enhancing the Photothermal Efficiency of MoS₂ through Ultraviolet-Ozone Exposure for Improved Solar Evaporation” in the reputable international journal Surfaces and Interfaces, with the CEO of ITNANO serving as one of the contributing authors.

The research focuses on enhancing the photothermal performance of molybdenum disulfide (MoS₂) through ultraviolet-ozone (UV–O₃) surface treatment. The study demonstrates that controlled UV–ozone exposure significantly improves light absorption and heat conversion efficiency, resulting in enhanced solar evaporation performance. These findings highlight the strong potential of MoS₂ for applications in solar-driven water desalination, water purification, and sustainable energy technologies.

This publication reflects ITNANO’s commitment to integrating scientific excellence with technological innovation. The direct involvement of ITNANO’s CEO as a co-author underscores the company’s research-oriented leadership and its dedication to ensuring that product development and commercialization activities are firmly grounded in rigorous scientific research.

By contributing to high-impact international journals, ITNANO reinforces its role not only as a supplier of advanced nanomaterials but also as an active participant in the global scientific community. This achievement further supports ITNANO’s vision to deliver innovative, science-based solutions addressing challenges in energy, environmental sustainability, and advanced materials.

The article has been published in Surfaces and Interfaces, Volume 48 (2024), Article 104343, and is accessible via: https://doi.org/10.1016/j.surfin.2024.104343
